Our club would like to extend an invitation to you to attend our next function. In case you don't know about us, we are the spouses and daughters of Rotarians. Inner Wheel is a worldwide service club that "Encourages members in the community towards ideals of personal service, fosters international understanding of the importance of community service, and works closely with the service organization of Rotary".

In 1999 a group of Rotary spouses decided to join together to form Orangevale Inner Wheel. We are the first new Inner Wheel Club to be formed in the District in over 20 years! We are excited to be a part of a worldwide network of fellow members. Some of our projects include adopting a family and providing food, household, and clothing items to them; starting our Bed Bank Project; providing Halloween activities for local group homes; meeting jointly with other Inner Wheel Clubs; doing Christmas crafts; and helping out with Rotary. More about our Bed Bank: Through the Sacramento County Social Services we are given the names of families living in the Sacramento area. Although these families need help from many different aspects in their lives, it is easy to see that a large need is in beds and bedding. Many of the children in these low-income families are sleeping on the floor. Orangevale Inner Wheel has started a "Bed Bank", through which we provide twin size beds and complete bedding for each bed donated to the children these families. This Bed Bank is our ongoing project. We hope that over the years, as a successful Inner Wheel Club, we can provide a warm and comfortable place to sleep for some of the needy children in our area a national scale, Inner Wheel, U.S.A. raises funds to support myoelectric limb banks that provides new and recycled myoelectric prostheses for children that might not otherwise be able to afford them.
