











Orangevale Club Goals for the 2006-2007 Term
1. Have fun and make a difference while sharing the ideals of Rotary.
2. Develop and maintain a needs assessment list for the community, its schools and local charities.
3. Conduct the 7th annual major fundraising project (Just a Little Bit Country BBQ and Auction) September 30, 2006, with at least $30,000 in proceeds.
4. Hold a forum whereby other service clubs, charitable organizations, municipalities, schools, and churches can coordinate their needs, plans and future goals so that together we might be able to leverage our common interests.
5. Raise over $1,000 in donations from members by highlighting giving to the Club's Charitable Fund.
6. Have interesting programs that help lead to a average club attendances of 85%.
7. Increase net club membership by 2 new club members.
8. Create awareness about the benefactor program and increase benefactors by two members.
9. Raise a minimum of $15,000 in Annual Giving to the Foundation.
10. Work with the community to support a "Friends of Orangevale Library" committee to support future expansion of the library.
11. Identify an international project and commit a minimum of $1000 to matching grants for international projects.
12. Encourage 20% increase in member's participation in the PAUL HARRIS SUSTAINING MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM.
13. Support an inbound and an outbound exchange student whereby our members all support and care for these students.
14. Finish the Strategic plan and an investment policy for the Orangevale Rotary Charitable Fund to which tax-deductible donations can be made for local projects, scholarships, etc.
15. Make sure that all members are actively involved in club projects.
16. Keep members informed of the Board's decisions and direction. Emphasize communication with members by providing every member with an updated monthly calendar, project results, and financial conditions.
17. Publicize Rotary's community activities in every possible venue.
18. Maintain a website for the club, as a tool for effective communication for the members and the public. Monitor and report on Rotary International's, District 5180 and other clubs’ website information.
19. Support the application of a viable candidate for an ambassadorial
scholarship.
20. Support the faculty advisor in chartering of the Interact program
at Casa Roble with the hope of attracting twenty five Interact members.
