The Rotary Club of Orangevale is excited to offer a New Grant Program of Orangevale area Schools. The Orangevale Rotary and the Orangevale Rotary Charitable Fund strive to be sensitive to emerging needs at our schools by providing grants Orangevale Rotary members assist in evaluating community needs to maximize the effectiveness of their giving. The Orangevale Rotary Charitable Fund handles distribution of these funds subject to review by Orangevale Rotary and approval of the Charitable Fund Board of Directors.

Only official school-sanctioned groups, departments, school organizations or the school itself will be eligible for grants. A grant will require the Principal and appropriate department head / faculty advisor approval. The grant should not subsidize any transportation, lodging, food, registration or administrative fee. The Charitable Fund looks favorably on programs that provide benefit to a wide variety of students. The Grants committee will also look favorably upon applications that have a matching fund component.

We will consider grants between $250 and $1,000. Please be specific about the amount of funding you are requesting. Please don’t request for a range of funding (i.e. $500 - $1,000). Funds should be spent within one year of grant award. The grant application deadline is September 30, 2006.
